As from November 2008 we were delighted to be able to offer the children and parents of Newton on Trent Primary School hot school meals. Although the school have no kitchen facilities we successfully sourced meals through a local caterer. Both the school and the catering service have worked at length with Lincolnshire County Council to ensure the menu provided to the children meets with the Nutritional Standards set by Ofsted.
Parents are also welcome to join the children during lunch-time and experience not only the quality of the food served but the happy environment in which the children eat in.
Attached is a copy of the 3 week menu cycle to give you an idea of the food available on any given day.
